Ghillie suspect on the run

Authorities are searching for the suspect who entered Wildcat Market in Flatlick wearing a Ghillie suit Monday morning.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. Monday, Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to an armed robbery at Wildcat Market.
The suspect was gone upon the officer’s arrival but according to reports, the clerk told the officer that the suspect was approximately 6-feet tall and large in stature. To hide his identity, he was wearing a Ghillie sniper suit and proceeded to threaten the clerk with a black handgun. He was able to get away with an undetermined amount of cash in the incident.
The vehicle the suspect got away in is described as a 2012 Jeep Liberty or Commander, and the driver’s side brake light is out. Both Bell and Corbin authorities were notified of the incident because the direction of travel is unknown.
