Severe weather moved through the area Sunday evening leaving a path of destruction behind that brought crews out throughout the night and into Monday morning. “A big shout out to the crew working today at the Middlesboro Fire Department,” Chief Robbie England said. “Doing what we do requires you to be a jack of all trades. Job well done.” There were no injuries reported during the severe weather, but there was significant damage from a large tree that was blown over onto a house. According to England, crews removed as much of the tree as possible and tarped off the damaged area to keep the area as dry as possible so the family could clean up inside the home.
