Bell County Clerk Debbie Gambrel announced the deadlines for new voter registrations including address changes or name changes must be made no later than April 22.
According to Gambrel, these changes must be submitted in order to be eligible to vote in the May 21 Primary Election.
“You can register at the County Clerk’s Office in Pineville or Middlesboro,” Gambrel said. “We also have sample ballots available at each of those offices.”
Sample ballots can be viewed online, and you can also register to vote online.

“If you need an absentee ballot to be mailed to you, and you meet the KRS requirements, you need to apply before May 14, 2019,” Gambrel explained. “It will ensure our office receives your application in time for us to mail you a ballot.”
To review your voter registration or to make changes or even apply for an absentee ballot, you can contact the County Clerk’s Office at 606-337-6144 and speak with either Debbie or Kayla.
