Bell Co. woman arrested on burglary charges

A Bell County woman remains behind bars after dispatch received a call that she was breaking into a residence in the Arjay Community.
Bell County deputies Patrick Brooks and Jake Perry responded to the area and once on the scene made contact with the caller. The caller explained to the deputies that it was believed that the suspect was still inside the residence.
The deputies entered the home and found 41-year-old Bridgette Dixon inside one of the rooms.
Upon further investigation, deputies found property sitting outside a back window of the house adjacent to the home Dixon was found in.
Based on the evidence collected during the investigation, Dixon was placed under arrest and taken to the Bell County Detention Center. She is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of third-degree burglary. She does not have a bond.
