Middlesboro Mayor Rick Nelson, Middlesboro Main Street Director Emily Ayers, and Bell County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sheila Durham took a private tour inside Smithfield Foods located in downtown Middlesboro Tuesday. “I was invited to take a tour inside, and I invited Ms. Emily Ayers and Ms. Sheila Durham to join me to see what a great asset Smithfield is to our community,” Mayor Nelson said. “They employee 450 people and I’d like to encourage everyone to support the great job they do right here in our own community.”
