Bell County’s first-ever music festival is slated to take place this summer.

Main Street Pineville Director Jacob Roan made the announcement Saturday night at the Pineville Gala.

The festival, scheduled for June 7 and 8, will be held at the Laurel Cove Amphitheater.

“We can’t think of a better setting for a music festival than Laurel Cove,” Roan said. “This will be the first year for what we hope becomes an annual event and something that we can build on.”

The festival is being organized through a partnership with Main Street Pineville and Pine Mountain State Resort Park, plus Bell County Tourism.

Bell County Tourism Director Jon Grace said the two days of music would include local performers, plus other regional and national musicians.

The lineup and ticket information will be announced later.
