Christy Blevins from the Bell County Extension Office visited Lone Jack School Center to conduct the LEAPS Reading program with the preschool and kindergarten classes. She read a book, Llama Llama Holiday Drama, which the kids just adored, along with candy canes for an activity.
Christy Blevins also visited the Lone Jack center to conduct the LEAPS Reading Program with first- through third-graders. She read Clarabella’s Teeth to students, which taught them how to take care of their teeth. Blevins presented an activity about what foods are good and bad for their teeth. Students also received toothbrushes to take home.
