Middlesboro Police receive trauma kits

With the generous donations from the community, the Middlesboro Police Department received 20 trauma kits on Wednesday. The kits were delivered by Middlesboro Police Officer Joel Quillen, left, and accepted by MPD Sgt. Floyd Patterson, who is also an EMT on the department. Quillen stated that his personal interest in active shooter response started when he was stationed in Iraq in the early 2000s.
