The Lone Jack FRYSC hosted a car safety program, presented by Dreama Wright from the Cumberland Valley Area Development office in London.
Wright presented a car and booster seat safety lesson to parents and grandparents. She demonstrated to the audience how a child is supposed to be buckled in properly and how old or how tall they were to be before coming out of a car seat into a booster seat.
Wright also expressed the importance of and gave examples of accidents, where children not being in the right car seat or not buckled in correctly resulted in unexpected outcomes.
Car and booster seats were also available for anyone that may have been in need of one.
