Convicted felon found with guns and drugs

A Middlesboro man is facing multiple charges after Middlesboro Police responded to reports of a convicted felon currently on parole armed with a handgun at 304 South 33rd Street on Tuesday morning.

Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson, Officer Hunter Marcum, and Officer Caleb Ayers responded to the address at approximately 6:30 a.m. and located 38-year-old Joshua Miracle inside the residence.

Miracle was found in possession of two 9mm handguns, one of which was stolen and loaded. He also had 31 rounds of  9mm ammunition, Buprenorphine tablets, and Clonazepam tablets.

Joshua Miracle was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center, charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), possession of controlled substance – 2nd degree (drug unspecified, possession of a controlled substance – 3rd degree (drug unspecified) and he was served a parole violation.
