Bobcats roll into tourney finals with wins over Belfry, Campbell

Bell County moved into the finals of the Redmond Auto Group Holiday Classic with victories over Belfry and Campbell County, Tenn., featuring a balanced attack that placed four in double figures in one game and five in the other.
Blake Burnett scored 20 to lead the Bobcats in an 81-57 win Friday over Belfry. Ethan Buell tossed in 16, followed by Cayden Huff with 15 and Cameron Hall with 11.
Bell outscored Campbell County 25-11 in the opening quarter and stayed in control despite Campbell winning the other three quarters. Burnett scored 22, followed by Buell with 17, Hall and Jaxon Thomas with 12 and Huff with 10.
The 6-3 Bobcats will play in the tournament finals on Monday at 7:30 against the winner of Sunday’s Madison Southern/Christian Academy of Knoxville game.
