Slone, Gentry lead Lions to win over Middlesboro
Featuring a balanced offensive attack led by Noah Slone with 12 points and Anderson Gentry with 10, Pineville coasted to a 46-20 win Tuesday over visiting Middlesboro in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball.
Kaden Lawson led the Jackets with seven points.
Kyson Thompson poured in 14 and Brennan Lambert added 12 as Pineville won 42-21 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Case Adams paced Middlesboro with 12 points.
Pineville won 29-7 in a third- and fourth-grade game as Cannon Strange scored eight for the Lions.

Noah Slone scored 25 points to lead Pineville to a 55-31 win Monday at Harlan in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Brody Brock led the Green Dragons with 15 points.
Brennan Lambert scored 15 points and Kyson Thompson added 14 as Pineville won 42-18 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Judah Shope paced the Dragons with seven points.
