U.S. Senator Rand Paul made a stop in Middlesboro on Thursday at Mountain Mugs & Crafts just off Cumberland Avenue. Paul was introduced to a small crowd by State Rep. Adam Bowling and spoke for about 20 minutes, sharing his message of stopping wasteful spending in Washington. He also took time to shake hands and pose for pictures before and after speaking. The Bell County Chamber of Commerce hosted the event which was also attended by Middlesboro Mayor Boone Bowling, Middlesboro Main Street and several local business owners. (Photos by Jay Compton)
