Middlesboro’s Abney Allen returned the ball in Tuesday’s regular-season finale at Knox Central.

Middlesboro closed its regular season schedule Tuesday with a 25-15, 25-13, 25-11 loss at Knox Central.
Taraji Brooks led the Lady Jackets with six service aces, six digs, one kill, one block and one assist. Keylee Ayers added four kills, two digs and one ace. Sudie Howerton chipped in with three kills, four digs and one ace. Alyssa Hackworth added four aces and three assists. Trinity Harriston added three digs and one assist.
Middlesbro defeated J. Frank White Academy 25-13, 25-7, 25-20 on Monday in Harrogate, Tenn.
Howerton led the Lady Jackets with six aces, six assists and three kills. Brooks had six aces, two digs, one kill and one assist. Ayers added four aces and three kills. Abney Allen contributed four aces, one kill and one dig.
Middlesboro (4-11) will play Bell County on Monday in the 52nd District Tournament.
