Wing Fling postponed until Oct. 12

The Middlesboro Wing Fling Festival has been postponed form September 28 to October 12 due to potential flooding risks in the area this weekend.
The festival posted the following message on its Facebook page Thursday afternoon:
“Due to the weather from Hurricane Helene and potential flooding risks in Middlesboro, we have made the decision to postpone the Middlesboro Wing Fling Festival to Saturday, October 12th.
While we’re all excited for the event, the safety of our community comes first. With the new date, we’re reopening team registration to give even more teams a chance to join the competition! You can register here: https://forms.gle/BzqECPunyhdEyPsx8
