Mrs. Jane S. Cox age 88 of Harrogate, TN was born October 13, 1935 and went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 21, 2024 with her loving family by her side.

 

Jane was a very faithful and dedicated member of the Gap Creek Baptist Church; her highest priority was attending church. She served in many roles of the church such as Sunday school Teacher and pianist.

 

She retired from Commercial Bank after 30 years of service to the community.

 

She was preceded in death by her:

Parents: Joe and Cashie Standifer

Husband: Dan Cox

Daughter: Kay Cox Rehkugler

Nine siblings

 

She is survived by her:

Sons: Danny Cox and wife Sonja

Kenny Cox and wife Sharon

Larry Cox and wife Athena

Bobby Cox and wife Connie

Patrick Cox and wife Brandi

Sister: Betsy Perkins

Close campion: Cecil Goins

Ten Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews and a host of many other relatives and friends.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Gap Creek Baptist Church from 5PM until 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM.

 

The Rev. Terry England will officiate the services.

 

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11AM in the Cox family cemetery.

 

Pallbearers: Danny Cox, Kenny Cox, Bobby Cox, Patrick Cox, Corey Cox and Christoph Cox.
