The Bell County Hall of Fame held its induction ceremony and dinner for the class of 2023-24 on Saturday evening at the Pine Mountain State Park lodge.

This year’s inductees include teams of distinction the 1956 Basketball Bobcats and Cheerleaders and the 1961 Lone Jack High School Basketball Team and Cheerleaders; Lone Jack Basketball Coach Shirley Goodin, Old Bell High girls basketball player Jackie Oslonian Hisel, Henderson Settlement basketball player Barry Jackson, Bell County High School girls basketball and softball player Samantha Young Kost, and Roscoe Perkins — a two-sport athlete at Old Bell High who went on to lengthy career coaching football at Middlesboro, Bell County, Somerset and Mercer County.
