Thomas Matthew Bingham

Matt was the best Daddy and Papaw. He was also a loving brother and friend. He found great joy in his children and grandsons. Matt was always a hard worker, spending nearly 30 years in the coal mines. In his free time, Matt loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and closest friends. A few of his favorite pastimes were talking and shooting guns with his son, reading, and riding motorcycles. He also liked watching westerns with his brother and giving his sister-n-law a run for her money on who could get to the heating pad first. One title he held, that cannot go unmentioned, was being voted “Best Chauffeur” for the girls. It didn’t matter if it was traveling to the beach, cheer competitions, track meets, or shopping and going out to eat, he was always proud to offer his service.
Although his time on Earth was short, his memories will be forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
In addition to his parents, Matt was preceded in death by his brothers, Sidney Bingham and Frankie Bingham.
He leaves behind his son, Thomas Bingham; daughter, Taylor (Kyle) Lee; grandsons, Beckham and Maverick Lee; brothers, Bill (Theresa) Bingham and James Daniels; and sister, Charlene Moreland as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
