Coming off two straight losses with a disappointing .500 mark through their first six games of the season, the Bell County Lady Cats got back on track last week on their home court with three wins in the Short-Redmond Holiday Classic.
After a hard-fought 69-65 win over Harlan County last Tuesday, the Lady Cats had less trouble the next two days by blowing past Lynn Camp 62-25 on Thursday and taking over in the second half Friday in a 65-53 victory over Lincoln County.
Gracie Jo Wilder scored 19 in the win over Lynn Camp, followed by Lauren McGeorge with 16 and Kairi Lamb with 12.
Lamb dominated in the paint against Lincoln with 22 points. McGeorge and Wilder added 18 and 16 points, respectively.
Bell County (6-3) will play in the Carolina Invitational on Dec. 28-30 in Charleston, S.C.
