Bell County resident killed in one-vehicle crash

A Miracle resident was killed Saturday when the vehicle he was operating left the road and careened down a bank before flipping and coming to rest on its top in a creek, according to the Bell County Sheriff’s Office.
Bell County Dispatch received a call of an accident about 2:24 a.m. Saturday on Highway 987 in the Brownies Creek community.
Deputy Samson Churchwell along with Bell County EMS and Bell County Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene where they determined the vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment, flipping on it’s top in a creek.
Bell County Deputy Coroner Jason Steele declared 27-year-old Wesley Miller dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
