Irene Wolfenbarger Wallace, age 85, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

She was born March 7, 1938 to the late Charlie and Mossie Honeycutt Wolfenbarger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Wallace, grandson Travis, grandson-in-law Matt Daniels and four brothers and three sisters.

Irene loved the Lord and attending church at Northside Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She enjoyed singing and traveled many places performing with the Wallace Family Quartet. She also loved her family, and especially her beloved dog, Ginger.

Left to cherish her memory, children Colleen Woody and husband Bo, Jerry Wallace and wife Cindy, and Marilyn Fox and husband Steve, grandchildren Rochelle Daniels, Joe and Christal Woody, Chris and Ashley Woody, Tracey and Cody Ayers, Jason and Kendra Wallace, Jerry Edward Wallace II, and Matthew and Amber Fox, sister Eulagray Cupp, as well as a host of many nieces, nephews,  great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, other relatives and friend too numerous to name but all who will miss her so dearly.

The family of Irene Wallace will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Cody Ayers, Jason Wallace, Joe Woody, Chris Woody, Jerry Edward Wallace, and Matthew Fox.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Skylar Ayers, Logan Woody, Blaine Woody, Chance Woody, Eli Woody and Baby Bennett.
