Happy 2020 everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and kissed someone special to ring in the new year. My friends and family love to have a get together where we play games, listen to music, eat finger foods, and watch the ball drop. Although we are already in to 2020, I had to give you all one more holiday recipe in honor of New Year’s Eve.
Confetti Cookie Dough Ball
Ingredients: 1 ½ block of cream cheese softened, ½ a stick of butter softened, ½ a cup of powdered sugar, ¼ a cup packed brown sugar, ½ a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, 1 cup mini chocolate chips, ¾ cup vanilla wafers and sprinkles, vanilla wafers and pretzels.
Instructions: In a large bowl beat cream cheese and butter until lightly fluffy. Beat in powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Once incorporated, fold in chocolate chips. Place the mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap. Cover the top with plastic wrap and use it to form the dough into a ball. Place in a small bowl and set in the refrigerator for 3 hours until firm. When ready to serve transfer the ball onto a serving platter and cover with sprinkles. Eat with vanilla wafers and pretzels. This is one the kids will be sure to love! Happy New Year everyone!
