This Saturday marks the second week of Music for Miners. If you haven’t purchased your tickets for the second show, you still have time and you can also purchase them at the door of Bell Theater.

The first artist will take the stage at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the show are just $10.

Bell County Tourism in conjunction with Main Street Pineville will be hosting the second weekend of event to raise money for families affected by the recent closure of the mines.

“All proceeds from the show will go to helping our local, out of work miners,” Grace explained. “All our miners will get free admission to the show for themselves and up to three family members.”

The event is scheduled to be held inside the Bell Theater this Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

• Tim Goodin

You can purchase tickets for the show at the Eventbrite Link that is posted to the Bell County Tourism Page and the Main Street Pineville Facebook Page.

“We have had so many musicians reach out to us and we appreciate it so much,” Grace said. “I want to personally thank all the bands that have reached out to help. Let’s pack this thing out!”

All of proceeds from both shows will go to helping the miners and their families.
