A Corbin man remains in the Bell County Detention Center after he was arrested for knocking on doors in the middle of the night in the Clear Creek/Harmony community.

According to Bell County Dispatch, they received a report of a man wearing shorts with no t-shirt that had several tattoos knocking on doors.

Deputies charged 26-year-old Ronald Roberts with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Bell County Deputies Eddie Dray and Jacob Perry responded to the location and were assisted on scene by Pineville Officer Michael Smith but were unable to locate Roberts.

According to the report, just before 7:30 a.m., deputy Justin Patterson made contact with Clear Creek Bible College security Chaplain Allen Sanders. The report states that Sanders located Roberts at the college when he was trespassing and detained him.

Reports state Roberts attempted to throw away a small plastic bag with a white crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine and admitted that it belonged to him.

Additional charges are pending, and he remains behind bars and is being held on a $1,500 bond.
