Middlesboro Men’s League Tournament to begin Monday

After a wild summer in the Middlesboro Men’s League, the tournament field has been set. Beginning on Aug. 5 at 6 p.m., the tournament will be held at East End gym and will feature 12 different teams.

The first game, beginning on Monday at 6 p.m. will have C-Town taking on Sweet as Honey. The winner advances to play Edgewood in the second round.

The second game will be held at 7 p.m. and will feature Steelo vs Hardwood Militia. The winner will advance to the second round to play Pineville.

The third game will be held at 8 p.m. and will have Team Flash taking on Krystal. The winner will advance to play the reigning champion, Cora, in the second round.

The final first round game will take place at 9 p.m. and will have Wet Like Water taking on Goon Squad. The winner advances to play Dynamic Machine.

The second round of the tournament will begin Tuesday. Edgewood, Cora, Pineville and Dynamic Machine all got a first round bye due to their records.

All tournament games are free to attend. A trophy presentation will take place at the end of the tournament, complete with MVPs and other accolades.
