The public is invited to a special-called Middlesboro City Council meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m inside the Council Chamber at city hall.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the following items:

• Approval of Resolution adopting the Main Street Middlesboro/City of Middlesboro Small Business and Property Incentive Package;

• Consideration of an ordinance related to the establishment of a moratorium on reassessment of property values of qualified rehabilitation properties in the Middlesboro Main Street District area;

• Consideration of an ordinance of the City of Middlesboro, Bell County, Kentucky, authorizing Bell County Sheriff and Bell County Clerk to bill and collect taxes on personal property and ad valorem property taxes including all delinquent taxes.

The meeting is open to the public and the community is encouraged to attend.
