This Thursday night in Pineville will be a night full of fun with something for everyone in the whole family as the city hosts Main Street Live in conjunction with events that were scheduled to take place last Wednesday.
Severe weather caused the annual Hometown Celebration to be cancelled when straight line winds brought trees down and even tore the roof off of Pineville Pawn Shop.
Events scheduled to be held Thursday include Main Street Live, a golf cart parade, a corn hole tournament, vendors, and more.
“The Patriotic Golf Cart Parade will be held at 6 p.m. along with Main Street Live,” Main Street Pineville Director Jacob Roan said. “David Shoemaker and Chris Minton will begin at 7 p.m., and we are introducing our first ever corn hole tournament.”
This is the inaugural year for the corn hole tournament and if you would like to register yourself or a team, you can follow the link on the Main Street Pineville Facebook Page.
“It is $20 per team and first place prize is $150 and second place prize is $50,” Roan explained.
There will be a $100 prize in the golf cart parade as well and vendors will be open on the square.
Be sure you bring the whole family out for a night full of fun on Courthouse Square in Pineville.
