Downtown Pineville was filled with race cars Friday evening. They were in town for the annual Sports Car Club of America Pine Mountain HillClimb. On Saturday and Sunday, the drivers raced up a 1.8 mile course up Pine Mountain, ending near the Pine Mountain State Park lodge. Friday’s festival in downtown allowed people to meet all the drivers and get a close look at their cars. There was food and fun along with a free concert by Kindred Valley in the Bell Theater.
