Lady Jackets end six-game skid with a district victory over Bell

Middlesboro snapped a six-game losing streak with a 9-6 win Tuesday at Bell County.
No statistics were available for Middlesboro.
Kenley Foster led the Lady Cats with a double and two singles. Jayda Boateng added a double and single. Alexus Lawson, Aubrie Womack, Adyson Scott, Addison Maiden, Tristan Saylor and Raeaghan Moyers had one single each.
Scott pitched a complete game, giving up nine runs (seven earned) on 10 hits with four strikeouts and one walk.
The 4-9 Lady Cats play host to Barbourville on Thursday. The 5-11 Lady Jackets play at home Thursday against Harlan.
