The Bell County Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint Brian Crawford as the district next superintendent during their special-called meeting on Monday evening.

Mr. Crawford will officially begin his role on May 1, 2025. The current superintendent, Mr. Tom Gambrel, along with the members of the board, expressed enthusiasm and confidence as they look forward to this new chapter in the district’s leadership.

Board members include: Doug Ramsey-Chairman, Mike Hatfield-Vice-Chairman, Larry Elliott, Chris Wagner and Wayne Mason.

Crawford previously served the district as principal at Lone Jack School Center and Bell County High School before serving the last two years as superintendent of McCreary County Schools.
