Lady Dragons continue offensive onslaught in win over Pineville

Senior catcher Addison Jackson hit her fifth home run and added a single while driving in five runs to lead the Harlan offense. Abbi Fields had two doubles. Ella Farley and Ella Lisenbee each added a triple and single. Gracie Hensley and Addison Campbell each chipped in with doubles.
Jordyn Smith earned the win in the circle as she gave up six runs (four earned) on eight hits with 11 strikeouts and three walks.
Rayanna Maidon led Pineville with a triple and single. Monica Whitehead had a double and single. Howard singled twice. Addison Slone contributed a triple. Baileigh Bargo-Vaughn added a double.
Howard gave up only three earned runs while striking out 14 and walking six.
The 7-3 Lady Dragons play host to Claiborne, Tenn., on Thursday. The 5-1 Lady Lions travel to Knox Central for a 51st District clash Thursday.
