Mrs. Fuson’s appointment, and the recent appointment of Mr. Mark Woods was necessary due to the resignation of two board members.  KRS 160.190 dictates the local School Board is authorized to fill the vacancy.  This process was handled through applications and personal interviews.

The Middlesboro School Board thanks Mrs. Fuson and Mr. Woods for their interest and applying for these recent unexpected vacancies.
