Howard explodes for 38 as Lady Lions roll into 51st District finals

Pineville rolled into the finals of the 51st District Tournament with a 70-36 win Monday over tournament host Barbourville.
Junior center Rachel Howard had a big night for the Lady Lions as she poured in 38 points. Madison Johnson and Kamryn Biliter each added nine points for Pineville (11-16). Ava Arnett scored seven.
Layla Brock led Barbourville (8-21) with 10 points.
The 11-16 Lady Lions play Knox Central in the tournament finals on Thursday.
