Bobcats pull away in fourth quarter for Senior Night win

Clinging to a two-point lead after three quarters, Bell County clinched a Senior Night win Saturday with a 16-2 run to open the fourth quarter on the way to a 57-38 victory.
Junior guard Blake Burnett scored 19 points and sophomore forward Ethan Buell added 10 for the 24-5 Bobcats, who enter next week’s 52nd District Tournament as the top seed.
Senior forward Jasper Hobbs led the 17-12 Tigers with 13 points. Senior guard Riley Corey added 10 points.
Bell County will play Middlesboro on Tuesday in the 52nd District Tournament at Harlan. Barbourville will play host to Pineville on Tuesday in the 51st District Tournament.
