Burnett, Buell team for 51 points as Bell overpowers Redhounds

Billed as a showdown between two of the 13th Region’s top teams, the Bell County Bobcats dominated from start to finish in an 85-56 win Monday over the visiting Corbin Redounds.
Bell County won for the 10th straight time and for the 19th time in its last 20 games by outscoring Corbin in all four quarters.
Junior guard Blake Burnett poured in 28 points for the 22-4 Bobcats. Sophomore forward Ethan Buell tossed in 23 points, and senior guard Cameron Hall added 21.
Freshman guard Ryder Akins paced the 15-9 Redhounds with 23 points. Sophomore guard Evan Ellis added 13.
Bell County plays host to Jackson County on Tuesday. Corbin will be at home against North Laurel on Friday.
