The visiting Pineville Lady Lions overcame a five-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter to rally for a 58-56 win Tuesday at Leslie County.
Ava Arnett scored 24 points and Rachel Howard added 23 to lead the Lady Lions and teamed for all 22 points in the fourth quarter. Howard scored 13 points and Arnett added nine in the period as Pineville rallied.
Junior guard Ava Napier led the 5-10 Lady Eagles with 26 points.
Pineville returns to Tuesday at Knox Central for a 51st District showdown.
