Lady Cats down Danville, Lincoln to extend win streak to five

Bell County extended its win streak to five with a pair of victories over the weekend in the 12th Region, downing Danville 61-50 on Friday and Lincoln County 64-63 on Saturday.
Junior center Kairi Lamb scored 22 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in the win over Danville. Lauren McGeorge scored 17. Nevaeh Allen added 11.
McGeorge hit 10 of 20 shots and poured in 25 points in the win over Lincoln. Lamber connected on eight of 10 shots and scored 20 while grabbing 10 rebounds. Allen and Lyla Scearse added eight points each.
The 10-3 Lady Cats play at Harlan County on Tuesday in the 2A Section 7 Tournament with a first-round game against Corbin.
