The Middlesboro Yellow Jackets suffered an early exit in the 13th Region All “A” Classic, falling 82-55 on Thursday in the play-in game at Jackson County.
Junior guards Joseph Killion and Mekhi Young led the Jackets with 19 and 12 points, respectively. Freshman guard Jacob Tinnell chipped in with 10 points.
The 3-8 Jackets play at Williamsburg on Jan. 10.
The 5-7 Generals advance to the All “A” quarterfinals on Saturday and will take on Barbourville at 6.
