Middlesboro freshman Emily Lambert hit three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points in the Lady Jackets’ 43-37 win Saturday over visiting Thomas Walker, Va.

After struggling through much of regulation, the Middllesboro Lady Jackets took over in overtime to post a 43-37 win over visiting Thomas Walker, Va., in the Magic City Winter Classic on Saturday.
Emily Lambert scored 14 points and Millie Roberts added 10 to lead the Lady Jackets.
Burke scored 15 and McPherson added 10 for the Lady Pioneers.
Roberts led the Lady Jackets in the extra period as she scored five points. Morgan Martin scored three.
The 4-2 Lady Jackets will play host to Clay County on Monday at 3 in the second day of play at the Magic City Winter Classic.
