As part of Homecoming 2024, Lincoln Memorial University unveiled and dedicated a statue honoring Reverend A.A. and Ellen Myers. The Myers’ founded the Harrow School on the site of the current campus. Harrow’s transformation into LMU began when Reverend Myers solicited support from General O.O. Howard, who agreed to help turn the mountain school into a larger enterprise. LMU assumed control of Harrow School in 1897. The Fine Art Studio of Rotblatt Amrany created a beautiful tribute to the University’s origin. (LMU photo)
