Lady Jackets stay perfect in region with win over Whitley

Whitley’s Autumn Sawyers battled with Middlesboro’s Morgan Martin during Thursday’s clash at Middlesboro.

Alysia White recorded three goals and Kolbi Mason added two as the Middlesboro Lady Jackets remained unbeaten against regional competition with a 5-4 win Thursday at home against Whitley County.
Mason also added two assists for the Lady Jackets, who improved to 10-2 overall and 7-0 against regional opponents. Emily Parsons and Keevi Betts each added one assist.
Trinity Partin allowed four goals but recorded 11 goalkeeper saves.
Middlesboro closes its regular season schedule on Tuesday at home against South Laurel.
