Partin notches two shutouts as Lady Jackets down Bell, HC

The Middlesboro Lady Jackets ran their win streak to four, and Trinity Partin posted her fourth straight shutout in the process with a 4–0 win over Harlan County on Tuesday and a 5-0 victory Thursday at Bell County.
Millie Roberts, Abby Jackson, Morgan Martin and Kolbi Mason all had one goal each and Mason added an assist in the win over Harlan County. Partin recorded four saves.
Roberts recorded one goal and two assists against Bell. Mason added two goals and one assist. Alysia White had one goal. Keevi Betts added an assist. Partin added three assists.
“We’ve had a lot of injuries this season, but the girls have stepped and played a lot of minutes and are playing hard for each other. I’m proud of them as a group and couldn’t ask for a better group of young ladies,” said Middlesboro coach Quentin Mason.
Middlesboro, now 5-1, returns to action Monday at McCreary Central and plays host to Knox Central on Tuesday.The 2-5 Lady Cats play at Hazard on Tuesday and will be at home Thursday against Knox Central.
