Bell County Sheriff’s Department charges Ingram man with sexual offenses

On Wednesday evening September 11, 2024, Bell County Sgt. Jody Risner arrested an Ingram, Ky. man for sexual offenses, WRIL reports.
The complaint warrant alleges that between January 1, 2022 and July 4, 2024, 61-year-old Phillip McIntyre engaged in sexual intercourse with a female victim under the age of twelve years old “who is incapable of consent.” Another charge states that McIntyre engaged in sexual activity with the same juvenile described as having an “intellectual disability.”
Phillip McIntyre was booked in the Bell County Detention Center charged with rape – 1st degree, rape – 2nd degree, sodomy – 1st degree, and sodomy – 2nd degree.
He is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
