Lady Cats’ surge continues with five-set victory over Knox Central

Bell County is off to another good start in volleyball with a 12-4 record after winning three of three matches at the Rocky Top Classic in Sevierville, Tenn.
The Lady Cats swept Knox Central 25-7, 22-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-8 on Thursday in Barbourville.
Kairi Lamb led Bell with four service aces, 18 kills, eight digs, four assists and one block. Nevaeh Allen added 15 digs, seven assists, three kills and one ace. Emma Winkler had 18 assists, two aces and four kills. Emma Farmer chipped in with 14 digs. Alexis Brown added five aces and four kills. Abbi Middleton had three aces and three digs. Emily Rose added four digs. Adyson Scott contributed three digs and two kills.
The Lady Cats play host to Clay County on Monday and Middlesboro on Tuesday.
