Mountain Lions open season with victory at Lynn Camp

Eli McDermott and Braxton Baker each scored touchdowns as Pineville went on the road to defeat Lynn Camp 16-0 in seventh- and eighth-grade football action Saturday to open the season.
Hayden Lingar added a two-point conversion for the 1-0 Lions.
The Pineville defense recorded a shutout as Gary Sturgill recorded an interception.
Lynn Camp won 24-6 in fifth- and sixth-grade action. Donnie Maidon scored the Lions.
Pineville returns to action Thursday at Jackson County.
