Middlesboro has a new business offering loaded teas, coffee, shakes and energy drinks that not only come in a wide variety of delicious flavors but are also packed with vitamins and minerals without all the sugar.

Middlesboro Nutrition is owned and operated by Brooke Munafo and Brooke Wagers.

“It’s just a good place for loaded tea, energy drinks, and healthier caffeine options,” Munafo said. “We also have protein shakes and coffees for people who want to put more protein in their diets.”

The store is located at 1505 US 25E in the shopping center just north of Cumberland Ford.

The Brookes said they discovered the drinks at LaFollette Nutrition and decided to open Middlesboro Nutrition using the same recipes.

“We actually would go to LaFollette Nutrition and we were addicted to their drinks so we figured we needed to have one here in Middlesboro and we decided to open one here,” Munafo added. “We’re excited for this new business opportunity and excited to see how the community supports us.”
They were joined by members of the Bell County Chamber of Commerce as well as friends and family on Friday for their official grand opening and open house.

“It is with great pleasure that we gather today to extend a warm welcome to Middlesboro Nutrition as the newest members of the Chamber of Commerce,” Chamber President Alex Gambrel said. “Middlesboro Nutrition’s dedication to providing nutritious options and fostering a healthy lifestyle will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the community.”

Middlesboro Nutrition is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
