Main Street Pineville receives Hometown Grant from T-Mobile

Pineville is one of the latest 25 cities to receive a Hometown Grant from T-Mobile. The $50,000 grant will go toward activating an alleyway in downtown Pineville, making both the mini park and historic theater more accessible while also adding modern conveniences. The grant was submitted by Main Street Pineville.
“We are happy to be able to provide another opportunity to improve the downtown area and are excited for Main Street Pineville to be a T-Mobile Hometown Grant recipient,” said Pineville Mayor Scott Madon.
Through Hometown Grants, people in communities nationwide are kick-starting projects that make a real difference and help their towns thrive. Since launching its five-year commitment to small towns in April 2021, T-Mobile has awarded a whopping 300 communities across 47 states with over $13 million in funding.
Each quarter, T-Mobile awards 25 Hometown Grants to small towns with populations of 50,000 or less.
Chasity Hueser, from T-Mobile’s store in New Tazewell, Tennessee, joined the Main Street Pineville crew to present the check on Thursday evening after the Dog Days of Summer event at the mini park next to the Bell Theater on Kentucky Avenue.
