The Claudettes entertain as Middlesboro Music Series continues

The Levitt AMP Middlesboro Music Series continued last Thursday with The Claudettes and The Pineda Band providing a free concert downtown.
Levitt Park was filled once again with lawn chairs as the crowd enjoyed the showed and even overflowed into the adjacent lot next door with young fans dancing along as The Pineda Band performed Sweet Caroline.
The Claudettes opened with a catchy instrumental duet featuring piano and drums before the bass and lead vocalists joined in. After a sultry blues rendition of Sharped Dressed Man the group everyone’s attention and the fun and music went on throughout the evening.
This Thursday will be a special 4th of July concert headlined by Shemekia Copeland with Sheila Gordon and the Unknown Blues Band opening up at 6:30 p.m. Following the concert, Middlesboro’s 4th of July Fireworks display with start at 10 p.m.
