Thanks to Middlesboro High JROTC with the assistance of the Middlesboro Police Department, Middlesboro Fire Department, the Masonic Lodge and other local volunteers, the American Legion was able to place over a thousand flags on graves of veterans in local cemeteries this Memorial Day.
The flags were provided by American Legion Post 14 and VFW Post 11139. Ace Hardware Corp. provided the flags to VFW post 11139.
