Harvey Bailey, 91 of Kettle Island, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Kettle Island on October 10, 1932, a son of the late Letcher and Hila Baker Bailey. Harvey served his country in the United States Army and had worked for General Motors.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Robert Bailey and siblings, Jimmy Bailey, A.J. Bailey, Melvin Bailey, Walter Bailey, and Gertrude Bailey.

Harvey is survived by his sons, William Bailey, Harley Lee Bailey, and Michael Bailey; granddaughter and her husband, Donna and Donnie Brashears; grandson and his wife, Everett “Will” and Haley Bailey; two great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews; other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. David Rice presiding. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery in Mary’s Branch with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
